Zakat
Managing the collection and distribution of Zakat in accordance with Shariah principles is a significant duty. To ensure strict compliance, Baadbaan Foundation has established a comprehensive system for receiving and distributing Zakat. This system was developed with the guidance of a Sharia Consultant Company that designed a Zakat Management System. Baadbaan Foundation adheres strictly to Sharia while collecting and distributing Zakat

Our Focus
The focus is on empowering recipients (who are eligible to take zakat) who aim for self-sufficiency. For instance, some widows desired to purchase livestock like goats or cows, while a lady aspired to establish a small vegetable shop. Additionally, Zakat was provided to a barber to help him open his own shop. Strict care is exercised to determine eligibility of a beneficiary in terms of Shariah. The procedure reflects Baadbaan’s commitment to both the principles of Shariah and fostering self-reliance in beneficiaries.
Distribution of Zakat
Baadbaan Foundation has meticulously developed a system to ensure the fair distribution of Zakat to those eligible for zakat and in need. The process begins with the completion of the Zakat application form, which gathers essential information for assessment. Ensuring the security and confidentiality of the applicant is paramount throughout this process.
Step 1 - Application
Step 2 - Scrutiny
Step 3 - Assesment
Through these well-defined stages—application, scrutiny, and assessment—Baadbaan Foundation demonstrates its commitment to upholding both the principles of Shariah and the well-being of the individuals it serves. This systematic approach ensures that Zakat is distributed equitably and effectively to those in need.
